Alphys x Undyne

On the surface, it looks like an unlikely pairing, but this is one of my favorites in gaming. Both of these characters are amazing when you meet them, and as a pair, it's hilarious and adorable and a little sad but you know they'll pull through. It's also nice to see a canon same sex relationship.

Toriel x Sans

Not canon, (good friends in the game) but certainly popular in the fandom and very feasible. And they meet over exchanging jokes!

I'm totally shipping Victor Frankenstein and Cardia in Code: Realize. And since this is an otome game, this means beautiful in-game kissing shot.

He's actually doing mouth-to-mouth to force feed her a cure and there's a machine about to self-destruct in the background, which is why the room is lit up with floaty particle bits. No, the cure actually can't wait despite the explodey machine. It makes more sense in context.

I think Rinoa and Squall was one of the most forced romance for the sake of plot development that ever was or ever will be.

Jade x Anise
Granted, he's way older, BUT I can totally see a twenty-something years old Anise going out with Jade in his mid 40's, I mean, that doesn't sound too far fetched...Right? Right? It could totally happen, it does happen IRL. Would I date someone 20 years older than me? Perhaps! So why wouldn't Anise? I mean, WHY WOULDN ANYONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND NOT DATE JADE CURTISS?

(tl,dr: YES I'M WELL AWARE OF THE AGE GAP I JUST CHOOSE TO IGNORE IT)

Well, after binge-watching playthroughs of all the 'Shadow Hearts' games, I'll have to add this one.

Yuri and Alice

At first, it seems like a REALLY unlikely demon/angel-like pairing. But Yuri has a lot of depth to him compared to his introduction- lots of love and loyalty and good stuff. Alice, too, has far more strength than one would guess, and actually says how she learned so much about love from him. And... well, going into the sequel, you see how far Yuri's love carries him.

Well, after binge-watching HCBailly's run-through of 'Bravely Default' and another LPer's 'Bravely Second', I have a few more to add.

Yew and Magnolia



These two really prove the 'adorkable', from coming up with the 'coup de gravy' to scooping goldfish to the completely sweet 'sharing umbrella' scene that ends up with Edea drop-kicking the usually clueless Tiz for unintentionally trying to ruin the scene.


Tiz and Agnes



Another 'adorkable' couple, with characters that are more clueless than embarrassed when it comes to matters of the heart. Both are pure little cinnamon buns that nevertheless have a lot of strength of heart. Even if, at times, as Edea says, "It was painful to watch."


And, of course, my favorite


Ringabel and Edea




These two are hilarious in the game. Ringabel is an amnesiac who also happens to be 'looking for his angel', who he proclaims is Edea upon first hearing her voice. They spend a lot of time with Ringabel saying something stupid and getting punched or yelled at by Edea for it. But she will also tease him back and keep him in line. He does get a lot more serious in the second half of the first game for reasons, prompting Edea to comment that she's not using one third of her lines to yell at him anymore. Edea's feelings are more revealed in the sequel, in a scene that almost broke my heart. But mostly, they're a lot of fun.

I've been watching a playthrough of 'South Park- Fractured But Whole', and I love the relationship of Super Craig and Wonder Tweek, especially after they make up in therapy. Craig's battle quotes are also hilarious. "Let's dance! Not literally, because I don't actually dance. Let's punch!"



(Though Professor Chaos is still my favorite.)

Elvis and Adelle, Bravely Default 2


These two make me laugh as much as Edea and Ringabel, if for different reasons. Adelle is a mercenary who got hired to protect Elvis and keep him out of trouble as he searches for asterisks and she's searching for her sister. As much trouble as Elvis can get into, Adelle certainly has her work cut out for her! The story shows how much they care for each other, especially in the big reveal in Rimedhal, meeting with Lady Esmeralda and the aftermath, and the second ending.

If these two weren't so perfect, I'd be tempted to try pairing Elvis with Solana. It would be hilarious, but I think it would work.
