Learning moves, even in the first RPG, Dragon Warrior, has always been the true joy of RPGS. The work you put in to earn the exp needed to learn the most of kick ass attacks seems to make these moments even better. So, without further ado, Zero's Top Five Ultimate Attacks! 5. Hiro's Triple Sword, Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete Finally, a move to truly replace the Poe Sword! No more having to hear 'dodge this!' over and over and over! Not to mention the Triple Sword should have been called the "Zophar Killer." 4. Laharl's Meteor Impact, Disgaea How to tell if you're screwed as a enemy of the Overlord? When he drops a giant space rock on you, laughing like the evil Overlord like he is. HAAAA HA HA HA HA! www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHOOoiPWWxE&feature=related3. Ryudo's Sky Dragon Slash Get this move to five stars, and the game seems very, very easy. 'Hey, I don't wanna do this random battSKY DRAGON SLASH! YOU SHALL BE DEFEATED!' www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjXAbbh3Zro2. Cloud's Omnislash, Final Fantasy VII Anon: Dammit! Sorry, buddy. But this move is just too damned cool to pass up. 15 seconds of kicking ass. www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxcDGeNOeMkAnd... My favorite Ultimate attack of all time is... 1. Kratos Aurion's Shining Bind, Tales of Symphodia You might as well say, "Detroyed by Heaven." 'Cause it's so damn true. www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJ_XqLmCIYYNote: Above video was from a different game, but this was the best quality I could find. Okay, that's it for me.

2. Cloud's Omnislash, Final Fantasy VII Anon: Dammit! Sorry, buddy. But this move is just too damned cool to pass up. 15 seconds of kicking ass. Please. It may do a lot of damage, but if I want a lot of slashing, I'll take Alex's Sword Dance. Maybe I am one for a little more flash in an ultimate move. Anon's top 5: 5. Lemina's Omni, Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete A major massive spell that can obliterate pretty much any lower enemy. Yes please. www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNR8ve9_yq04. Laharl's Meteor Impact, Disgaea Zero's right. That's an Overlord. 3. The Guardian Summons, Wild Arms 2 Justine reminds me of Voltron. Don't get much more badass than those summons. www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrQClMDaoOQ&feature=related2. Aurica's Ar tonelico song, Ar Tonelico Good lord that is a lot of damage, all done in a short time. www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOq8IcZ8CRQ1. Ryu's ultimate Kasier Bonebreak, Breath of Fire III Strength already multiplied by 4, then multiplied by 4 again, and defense ignored. Buh-bye. No wonder you can only used once every 3 hours of gameplay. Unfortunately I could not find a video of this one.

All right. Guess I'll give the five a shot. Just don't ask what I'm shooting it with. Especially since I can't search for videos to accompany my picks. 5. The All Out Attack of Persona 3 & 4. Go ahead. Laugh, if you will. I know I am. But tell me that successfully knocking over numerous monsters, sometimes even bosses, and following it up with a big, comic style dustcloud beatdown doesn't satisfy the kid inside. You may not need EXP to learn it, but you do have a bit of strategy and certain MP related costs to set things up, after all. 4. Laharl's Meteor Impact. I guess I do have to agree with this one, too. I just never used it much. By the time I got this attack, Hurricane Slash was at a high enough level that the SP cheapskate in me said it wasn't worth it. 3. The Ar tonelico song. I've got an addenum to this. All three Reyvteils in the first game can use it. There is also one person in the sequel that can, as well. 2. In Ar Tonelico 2, Cloche's use of the Infel Pira. Except for one story related event, it requires a lot of hard work to get this attack up to the full extent of its awesomeness, as its power depends upon the number of IPDs you've saved. It even has its own theme track whenever it's charging up. 1. The Geo Chain of Disgaea 1 & 2. Ah, the beauty of placing the cubes just so, shattering them, and causing color changing, reactive booms that culminate in a big pillar of light that likely wipes out anything on the enemy side that managed to survive up until that point. As an added benefit, it fills up your Bonus Gauge in a way nothing else does. And, as far as I've been able to determine, any accidental deaths of allies as a result do not affect your ending path.
