Dragon Quest V does that where the twins will have hair the color of their mother's. (Blue, blonde, or black.)

Ah, yeah. I forgot about that one (even though I played it). Silly me.
I ended up starting Persona 3 Reload as my current play. I did not realize those twisty black things were breakable, and the game doesn't tell you until you're a few floors up. My first thought? What items did I miss because they didn't give me this intel the first time I saw one instead of a pre-scripted floor? ...And then the whole Twilight Fragments thing, well... does this mean I'm going to have to run all around town repeatedly all the time because they might respawn? Or will that only happen in Tartarus? ::shrugs:: In any case I already managed to run out of them because they are not only used to unlock certain treasure chests of varying amounts (1 to 3 fragments from what I've seen so far) but also to use the healing clock (for a total of 7). And me being me, I did the whole first section of Tartarus in one swoop at the first opportunity. ...So yeah. Hopefully those locked chests that are on boss floors are not randomized and will stay until I have enough to pick 'em up later. ^^;

Recruited and put Stallion into my party in Suikoden 2. And now I have to ask…
…WHY DIDN'T I PUT YOU IN THE PARTY IN THE LAST GAME?!!!
That Godspeed Rune, holy shit! World map running!
Running! On the world map! Where you're otherwise slow as molasses!
Stallion best elf.

Do you recruit Valeria or Kasumi? I always go with Valeria, personally. Especially her and Anita's Unite attack...

I recruited Kasumi to get the other ninjas sooner.
Also, Stallion is actually one of the better Wind Rune users with an A rank affinity. He's no Luc, but he's a damn good alternative.
I also had the foresight to equip Humphrey with a Wndspun Armor in the fist game, so once I get a Firefly Rune, he's gonna be my main tank.

Suikoden 2, done and dusted. On to 3.
…and despite my better judgement, I got the 'best' ending.
Fucking Nanami. I wanted ONE thing… *facedesks*

I'm done with Persona 3 Reload. I have no intention of playing the 'reload' of FES when it's done (mostly because I didn't really like the original that much). I did like the smoother combat, including the addition of the Kouga and Eiga lines of attack options. It made certain types of enemies that were needlessly difficult in the previous P3 versions more comparable with the rest. There was additional character depth added, though in the case of Strega, I don't really think it made Takaya any more sympathetic. Jin and Chidori maybe, but not him. I can't say I was very thrilled with the Reload versions of the music overall. I don't think the opening theme is as good as either Burn My Dread or Soul Phrase. I liked the non-hostile remixes well enough, but the battle music... I'm sorry; I actually sprung for the P5 music DLC just so I wouldn't have to listen to it. The only track I'd seek out to buy from P3R is the opening theme. You won't see me looking for the rest of it. Now, the Phantom X opening on the other hand... THAT I went for. Thanks to Youtube finally recommending something I would seek out for once.
As for what I'll play now, it's probably going to be something so casual it's not worth mentioning here. Just to give me a little mental break.

My preorder of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is finally downloading. Time to see if Suikoden's successor can live up to its legacy.

Ooh, I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts about it. The previews have looked amazing.

That's something I've had on my radar, too. Not sure if I'm going to go for it right away or not, though. Mainly because I'm trying to get over my disappointment with the latest Disgaea game. I don't know if it's the storyline quality now or just not liking how the gameplay's evolved (or devolved depending on your perspective). I honestly don't know if I'll ever play another in that series.
I do have my eye on the Class of Heroes 1 & 2 remakes coming out soon, too.
For now, though, I'm finally getting to the Steam version of the Apollo Justice trilogy.

...I ended up looking at the soundtrack info for Eiyuden Chronicles and saw: Motoi Sakuraba (Tales series), Michiko Naruke (Wild Arms), and Noriyuki Iwadare (do I really need to say more?). So... yeah. I couldn't stop myself. I won't be sinking too much time into it right away, because I do have some other things in my backlog that will be a lot easier for me to deal with first. As for my Apollo Justice progress: Finished the first one and am about halfway through the second one. I never got to play any of the dlc eps when I had the games on my phone, so I'm looking forward to those while redoing the rest. And maybe (wishful thinking, I know) hoping that they decide to complete the whole set by bringing both of Miles Edgeworth's games over to Steam as well. I would have no objection. And yes, I did pick up the Class of Heroes games. And no, I will not play those before Eiyuden Chronicles, because they are time sinks. My kind of time sinks, yes, but still.

Ooooooh, that is a superstar list for the soundtrack! Looking more deeply into this now. I would also not object to the Miles Edgeworth games coming over.
