This isn't exactly art per se, unless you use a different definition.
So, as you all know, I went back to school for a degree in computer science. I then switched schools and this new school has a game design degree. I have been taking some of these classes, not for the degree, but for a certificate. One of the classes I am currently in is called Traditional Games. This means that for the whole semester I have been creating a board game. I know we have all had ideas for games, but this class has actually forced me to make one to completion (prototyping, balancing, and everything). For the past 8 weeks I have been playtesting a game over and over. In this time I have neared its completion to the point where if I can have a good meeting with this teacher who has some connections, I have the possibility of actually getting a game published. My classmates were saying that they wanted to buy a copy of my game as is, and couldn't give me any feedback to improve it. I am riding high right now.

That's pretty cool. You'll have to let us all know when it happens so that we can snatch copies of it ourselves.

Wow, congratulations! And if you'd want to sign mine, that would be great.

I have a meeting this Saturday to discuss with someone who has recently gone through the publishing process, about the process of getting my game published. Things could get interesting soon.
