Hey everyone. That took a little longer than I was planning, but I was trying to finish something before I came back. It’s still not fully done, but I missed you guys. Here is what I’ve been working on. Welcome to my game room.

Quite a sight, I know. And yes, the chair reclines In case I'm in the mood for something really retro.
Even if I close the door I have decorations.

Nothing helps a long gaming session like a nice, cold Faygo. Especially when it's just a step away. It feels good to have my Shrine back up. Not to mention my new arcade and finally a place to set up my Vectrex.
Gotta have a nice set of shelves for the games. Not to mention some good posters. In case you can't see, that's Street Fighter on the left and Muramasa along the top.

Here's a little closer look at the library, and yes, that is Lunar: Walking School on the arcade. I plan to put my Sony video game clock in the spot above the Cross Edge poster once I fix it.
And with this, all of my pre-PS2 systems are shown.
And of course, a fan favorite on the big screen, perfectly angled for a reclined position in the chair in the middle of the room. And with a ceiling fan right above the chair, it makes for a great gaming experience.
In case you didn't catch the strands hanging on the wall, those are game based lanyards. I still have 9 to put up. Those all used to be on my keys . . . at once. I also have a neon Nintendo DS sign to put up as well once repaired.
So that's what I've been doing.

Niiiiiiiiiice. I love the fridge, the ceiling fan right above, and of course the Mega Man II goodness. (I LOVE the NES ones, but am admittedly not very good at them.) The sign with the Three Stooges is also amazing. That chair looks really comfy, and the reclining is nice. (I've always preferred playing games lying down, unless I need faster reflexes like in Okami.) Where did you get all the lanyards? (The only videogame one I have is the Takaba Lab one from the Hatoful Boyfriend plushie kickstarter. I use it to hold my university staff ID to be funny, as the lab is run by the Hawk party that wants to wipe out humanity.)

Lanyards are kind of a staple, because of how easy they are to produce. I just sort of started collecting. It was always pretty funny when I had a ring of like 3 keys and like 30 lanyards.

Excellent. I just moved back into my new/old apartment the other day...my gaming spaces are quite pedestrian compared to that...especially since I don't even have a computer desk yet...or a tower....and my PS4 has to live in the living room with the TV...which I share. Not ideal, but I'm happy either way Someday I'll have everything in one place. It probably won't be as gamer designed a that, but it will be mine, heh.
