Ambrienne, I don't remember which thread our original conversation was in, but we talked about Voltage games being ported to Switch and PC. The next one going to Steam is Metro PD! But I was watching the trailer and was like... Wait a minute, Nomura? Himuro? What happened to Asano, Eiki, and the perv? (Kyobashi. I felt a little bad so I looked him up.) I figured like most Voltage ports it would only include the main group of guys, but I figured that would mean everyone actually in 2nd unit (Kirisawa, Tennoji, Hanai, Asano, Eiki, and Kyobashi) and leaving out Kimura, Nomura, and Himuro who are more support staff. But the love interest list is Kirisawa, Hanai, Tennoji, Nomura, and Himuro. >.> They even redid the game's poster art to take out Asano and Eiki, move Kirisawa up (who was previously all the way in the back), and add Nomura and Himuro. I don't mind Nomura being in there, but Himuro taking up someone else's spot annoys me. . I haven't fully bought out all the Metro PD main stories in Love 365 yet, so I'll probably wait for a sale on the Switch version and pick it up for Kirisawa, Tennoji, and Nomura.

...What the flipping peanut butter? They should do the entire cast, not just... Gah. And if I were going to leave someone out, I would have left out Hanai. I would take Kimura any day over him both for personality and story content. Not that Hanai's is horrible, but his attitude irritates the stuffing out of me. I wonder if they were trying to catch some of the less young gamers with this lineup since they kept the oldest three. I do hope this is a case that they decide to do the rest of the guys and release them later, though. I mean, they did all the Star Crossed guys and if any series deserved to have a LI left out it would be that one.

Yeah, I wish they'd do the entire cast, but they've left people out of their other ports so this seems normal for them. I just don't see why they'd break it the way they did since that leaves characters the player is going to see on every single route just hanging around without being romance options while Himuro doesn't even show up sometimes. (It's been a while, but I think Nomura is at least in the prologue.) I hadn't thought of the fact they're keeping the older guys, but there could be something to that. Nomura and his facial hair is certainly a rarity in otome.
Since they broke up Star-Crossed and Enchanted in the Moonlight into two parts, I suppose they could do a second Metro PD release with the remaining four guys, and that would be nice.

I just looked at the Steam page for the upcoming release, and they're not including Nomura's 24 Hours episode in it. I'm guessing it's because it's still too new and they haven't milked 365 for it enough yet. I wish I could say it surprised me, but it doesn't. Sheesh.
