Dammit, dammit, dammit. I go to start up my PS3 this morning and play a little MLB 2012: The Show. I turn on the tv, turn on the system, select the game, hit continue RTTS. Everything good so far. I sim to next appearance, get into a training session, and after the first pitch the graphics start getting a little jumpy. Before I can throw the third pitch the game freezes, the system shuts off, and I get a blinking red light. MY PS3 DIED ON ME! >Sob< I can either void the warranty and try to fix it myself, or pay $130 to have Sony fix it, but I would lose everything on my HDD. I guess the PS3 is just going to be shelved until I can figure out what to do.

Tried a couple of restarts and fixes. Finally called Sony. They said the only was to fix it was to send it in.

Is the the first gen giant boy, or the slim boy? The amazingly awesome original run 60 gig with the full backwards compatibility. Not that I use it for PS2 and 1 games much, but it's nice to have.

........... The blue ray player on my PS3 died today. Yes, the fat 80 gig one. I can still play downloaded PS1 classics, and I can still go on the internet, but normal games on my end? Not a chance. Hell, I might just say 'screw it' and get a new slim. Of course, I'd have to work on getting all my trophies and such all over again... .......Oh god. I'm gonna have to fight the Harvester on Hard all over again, aren't I?

Trophies data is stored on your Playstation Account....you should still have access to it when you sign in through a new system, at least that would make sense.

Well, found a silver lining. My PS2 and PS1 games still work. That's something, I guess.

With mine going down. I am most upsed about losing my Dragon Age and MLB saves. MLB I had a lot of time in. DA I'm okay with playing over. DAII I didn't want to have to play through again.

My DAO file is the only one in my trophy collection that has the platinum trophy. Man I played that game to death.

So how can you say you've completed it? ......... :3 (Yes, that's the closest I can make to a trollface. )

The only thing I haven't gotten is Harvester on Hard/Nightmare Mode because my Dual Wielding melee warden simply can't do it combined with the party they force me to use. If I made a mage/healer and ran it through, I could aoe the damn thing to death and heal through everything, but I haven't done that... So nya nya nya nya

Either way, I have to play all my old games over again, re-install and upload... *collapses* Giblet: *clucks*
