K...so today is an example of how one stupid person, making a stupid clerical error someplace can completely screw up someone's life.
We all know I'm back in school, up to getting my Master's at this point. Well, since pretty much all the money I made last decade has gone into paying down all my loans over the years, I need financial aid to fill in some gaps.
I've been doing this for a few years now, so it's pretty routine...until someone screws it up from within this system of online credit checking that has appeared over the past few years.
To make a long story short, I haven't gotten the rest of my Fin Aid package, so I've been trying to find out why. I finally find out today that the loan agency denied that part of it...because something came back bad on a credit check.

My credit is freaking sterling. I've spend the past 15 years making sure I never screwed it up. So right away it was clear something had to be wonky in all of this.
Working with my mom, we tracked everything down through out the day, and finallly figured out what happened.
Some moron somewhere in this particular credit check site that the loan agency used completely F*CKED up my records.
1) they had my old name as my current name
2) they had my mom's name as my former name
3) they had all my addresses wrong for the past nearly 3 years
4) they had a loaner sited as having a problem with me when that loaner has never had me in deliquency in the past 10 years
So what happened? Because they thought my name was my mom's name...a doctor's billing error from 4 years ago concerned with a test she had came back as delinquent and on my record.

One freaking stupid error my some faceless peon nearly costs me money I NEED to help me out right now.
I need to keep my head above water for just another year until I finish this degree and use the schoool's programs and connections to transition into an internship which means a new job/career so I can be freaking secure finally.
So if any of you wonder what keeps me from finally finishing CoH? It'r crap like this that has continued to happen over the past three months that completely throws me out of whack.
