Huh. Now this is funny.
I have in my inventory, and I quote, a "Bottomless Potion of Kulle-Aid".
Reika: XD
Using it allows you to break through the walls made by enemy Waller affixes.
The flavor text for it? "Oh yeah!"
Reika: I get it! ^_^
Damn you Blizzard. Mah childhood.
On a different note, I just got the 6-piece bonus for the Unhallowed Essence set. My demon Hunter is now pushing damage in the BILLIONS. Needless to say, she too has made it to T10 content. My Monk and Barbarian are so behind... D:
Reika: On the downside, can't seem to take a hit worth crap, though. =<

Last, but not least, we have the Witch Doctor. Definitely a mechanically unusual class that needs some getting used to. I think I'm starting to get the hang of it though. Using a DoT-based build, though Kadala's being a bit too stingy on the Helltooth Harness pieces.
But in all seriousness, this game needs an armory system in town separate from your Inventory and Stash where you can equip and swap through builds. I've saved up so much stuff for Kanai's Cube and other builds that even after buying all the stash space, I'm starting to run low on room. D:

Alright, not comfortable soloing with this DoT build for Witch Doctor. Maybe if I was in Multiplayer, I could get behind it more. Thankfully, there's a pet build that also uses Helltooth, so I'm gonna try that. Unfortunately, I might need to re-roll some gear. Stupid Hellfire Amulets and their random 5th passives. >_< Speaking of pet builds, I revisited my old Monk, slapped on the Inna's Vast Expanse set, and I am dominating with Mystic Ally. With the full set and The Crudest Boots, I have ten of these bad boys helping me with T10 runs. I need to go back to my Barbarian and see if I can get her the Gavel of Judgement for that Hammer of the Ancients build. Also made my second Wizard and Crusader, got them to 60, and gave them all my T10 loot hand-me-downs.

Well, I haz news from Blizzcon.
We're getting Necromancer. It comes with 2 character slots and 2 things of extra stash space. It'll be paid DLC, but considering that the class will be integrated into story mode like the Crusader, I believe it'll be worth it.
We're also finally getting an armory in the next patch that can hold 5 builds - gear, gems, Cube abilities, transmogs, each build will be different if you so choose.
Also in the next patch we're getting two new adventure zones, plus a Diablo 1 themed area for the 20th anniversary.
....also, I think they're remaking Diablo 1, but don't quote me on that. >.>

I'm looking forward to the Necromancer since that was my favorite class in D2. Bone Spear for days! (And Corpse Explosion is a lot of fun too.)

I'm looking forward to the necromancer too. While it wasn't necessarily my FAVORITE class, I made one on D2 that had a ton of minions.
I sorta did the same with the witch doctor in Diablo 3, but even that wasn't as ridiculous as my D2 necromancer.
Which is to say I hope the Necromancer gets released on the PS4 too. It probably will -- the PS4 version has been good at keeping itself quite up to date.

So I did the Diablo I anniversary event. I can't believed they actualy programmed a 'classic' fliter for the area. All 16 floors are in. All 4 bosses have been remastered as their classic counterparts, and you get a new legendary gem for completing it... and a Butcher pet if you go through the event as a fresh character.
Also, glad to know my Multishot Demon Hunter is as OP as ever.
Edit: Also, it's only around until the end of the month.

Didn't know about the pet thing.
I wonder if that's why I can't put pets in my stash chest at the moment, or if that's gonna be permanent now.
That aside, despite the filter, the stage designs were basically the same as the main game anyway, right down to how the stages are formed. It's... alright, I guess, but it doesn't really feel like Diablo 1 in any way or form... though that was impossible to do anyway, seeing as you're basically using your regular characters.

Crap... I forgot about the anniversary event! Still have two weeks left. >.> Gotta get my fix in.

Okay, I went and made a new wizard to play through and get the Butcher pet for the anniversary event. The cow pet is cute, though I don't really feel like Diablo 3 is the type of game that should really have pets. >.> Then I decided I still felt like smacking things around so I pulled my paragon level 50 crusader out of mothballs and went after the other achievements. Now missing just *one* unique in the D1 dungeon and page 2 of the cultist pages for the D1 angel and demon portrait frame rewards. My crusader is now paragon level 90 and freaking nothing hurts him. >.> I'd bump up the difficulty up from Torment II to something higher except his damage is only so-so and I don't really want to get into any 3 minute battles. I need a better weapon bad. But I did bounties and a couple greater rifts to break things up and got the chest piece from the crusader Akkhan set, so that was a bit of good luck.

Can't remember if I've said this before, but I use Icy Veins for my build needs. They're always updating. It's how I got my Demon Hunter to be so OP.
As for if the series needs pets and stuff... well, it's human nature for people to want extra 'I-wanna-show-off' crap. *shrugs*

The Necromancer has arrived...
...and it's 15 bucks on PSN. >_<
Gonna have to wait until later to get this.

Seven skeletons and a golem. As soon as you learn the skill, they sort of just spawn, one by one. Unlike the Witch Doctor, you don't have to select various passive skills to get more skeletons. However, unlike the Witch Doctor, you CAN'T select any passive skills to get more minions, so... uh, give or take, I guess.
Like the Crusader from the Paladin, as well as the Barbarian now and then, the Necromancer here has been made to resemble the Diablo II necromancer. Although you could technically build an impressive amount of minions for the D2 necromancer, you are a bit more limited here. Still, you have your bone spear and spirit, your corpse explosion, your bone armor and whatnot. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of sets you can get for the necromancer, and which effects they'll grant.

I played necro on the PC PTR and wasn't sold enough to drop $15 on it. Also, the corpse graphic makes me think of raw chicken... which isn't too bad by itself, but when there's tons and tons of raw chicken everywhere because I'm not exploding things often or fast enough I start feeling kinda grossed out. :\
But I'm still playing World of Warcraft, and it's possible to trade your in-game gold for Blizzard Balance for digital purchases of other Blizzard PC products, so I might do that. I'm decently wealthy in WoW and this would take maybe 10% of my in-game wealth. (I seriously haven't paid subscription money in a couple of years since I'm adept enough at making gold in game that other people are essentially paying for me.)
I couldn't shell out $15 in the real world though. There's a Steam sale going on and I'll get a lot more play time out of whatever I buy over there using the same amount of money. ;P
