(Lark come out dressed like a green pig.) Ninya: Do we want to know? (Kalia and Maria bounce out dressed as a red bird and an orange bird.) Kalia: Daddy forgot his crown! Lark: *sigh* (Kalia puts the crown on Lark's head.) Reika: Hey, I thought we were going for the usual again this year. Lark: Well, the kids ambushed me the other week. That, and somebody didn't want to be Pugsly. Maria: *blows raspberry* Reika: Crap. And I was just about to convince Solana to be Cousin It. Her hair's long enough by now, isn't it? (From out of nowhere, a chicken comes flying at Lark, knocking him over. Giblet picks up the crown and scrambles off like a shot.) Lark: Owwww...! Kalia: Giblet! Bad chicken! (Kalia bounces after the feathered thief while Maria simply pecks at the fallen Lark.) Reika: Is it just me, or did anyone else see a green 5000 pop up earlier? And who set up the slingshot over there? (Ninya leans over just in time to see Dante and Zero hightail it out of the room.) Ninya: I was wondering why this pudding tasted funny... Lark: Somebody want to help...? Ninya: Oh, suck it up. Reika:

I am happy to say that as usual Halloween went great. We had a bunch of kids, gave out a ton of candy, and got a slew of compliments on the decorations. I love this holiday. Tomorrow, I have a quiz, followed by candy shopping, followed by my flight out to Detroit. Time for Youmacon, baby.

(Laughs) My hair's about down to my hips, Lark. I'll keep working on it. Though with my dad's b-day being on Halloween and my mom on Friday the 13th, I joke that we're halfway there already. Anon, are we setting up a betting pool for higher/lower again? Or at least getting another picture? Last night I had to work, but quite a few people dressed up, including one lady in full Ren Faire ensemble. I usually enjoy breaking out my dance gear, but it was too chilly this year. (I had one customer ask if I was a bohemian. Uh, no, that's my usual! ) One nice customer was passing out chocolate, and a lady dressed as a true flower child handed out extra flowers, so it still worked out.

Unfortunately, I am about to leave for the airport. The candy is in my trunk and will sit there until Monday. I won't be able to count it until then. You are free to speculate before that. Later, Shriners. I'm off to Detroit.

Wow, that's quite a haul! This definitely looks like a bigger spread compared to last year. I'll start the bidding with 151.7 lbs.

131. Did you get to see any panels? Higher. No I didn't get to any panels, but I did see two Who's Line's and the MST4K. Honestly I laughed so much by the end of this con that I hurt. Tricky, maybe it's just how it's arranged, then. 135.4 lbs. Higher. And as a hint there are two decimal places.
